PVC flame-retardant conveyor belts are currently a popular commodity in the transportation field of coal mines, and are also one of the commonly used types of conveyor belts. In addition to being used in coal mines, this product can also be used in the metallurgical industry and chemical manufacturing industry, which is a typical example of flame retardant conveyor belt products in our factory. The product has characteristics such as non delamination, small extension, impact resistance, and tear resistance.
Below are the specific methods for everyone to share maintenance and upkeep of PVG flame-retardant conveyor belts:
1. PVG flame-retardant conveyor belts should be kept clean during transportation and storage to prevent exposure to sunlight, rain, or snow, and to avoid contact with chemical substances such as acids, alkali raw materials, solvents, etc., with a distance of one meter from the hot equipment.
2. During storage, the temperature inside the warehouse should be maintained between -18 ℃ -40 ℃, and the relative temperature should be maintained between 50-80% RH.
3. During the storage period, the goods must be placed in rolls and not retractable. They should be rolled quarterly during the storage period.
4. Conveyor belts of different types, specifications, and models with overlapping layers are not suitable for application together, and their connectors are connected using adhesive wiring method.
5. The type, structure, specifications, and number of layers of conveyor belts should be effectively adopted according to the application standards.
6. The operating speed of PVG flame-retardant conveyor belts is generally not suitable for raw materials and applications with large block size and high wear resistance, such as 2.5 meters per second. Fixed plow type feeding equipment should be used at low speeds as much as possible.
7. The relationship between the diameter of the transmission drum of the transport aircraft and the fabric layer of the conveyor belt, the supporting facilities of the transmission drum and the diversion drum, as well as the regulations on the groove angle of the carrier roller, should be effectively selected based on the design requirements of the transport aircraft.
8. The feeding direction should follow the operating direction of the adhesive tape. To reduce the impact of raw material landing on the adhesive tape, a flow channel should be used to reduce the spacing between raw material landings; The material receiving section of the adhesive tape should reduce the spacing between rollers and use buffered rollers. To avoid overflow, a soft and appropriate material blocking plate should be used on the belt side to prevent the material blocking plate from being solid and scratching the nylon conveyor belt surface of the conveyor belt.
